The Flora and Fauna

November 15th, 2018 at 7:00pm

The Apollo Theater is proud to produce a One-Night Reading of The Flora And Fauna to benefit the Me Too Movement.

All proceeds will be donated to the Me Too Movement, per the wishes of the playwright, Alyson Mead.

Alyson Mead was inspired by a single line from the famous “Emily Doe” Letter read at sentencing during the Stanford Rape Case. When Ms. Mead was challenged to think about community and ritual while attending the Kenyon Playwriting Conference, The Flora and Fauna began to take shape.

Ginnie and Adele’s friendship was forged under a dark secret. But 28 years later, an inescapable event puts them both in jeopardy again. Can they help each other move on from loss before it’s too late?

Tickets: $20
Students and Seniors: $15
